“Hajj,” is one of the five pillars of Islam, performed in the 12th month of the Hijri calendar, called “Dhul Hajja.” It is mandatory for every Muslim to perform Hajj once in their lifetime, provided they are an adult free of debt, liabilities, and physically and financially able to bear the exertion and the costs of the pilgrimage. Hajj involves pilgrimage to Makkah, a city located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and perform specified acts of worship in Makkah, Mina, Muzdalifa, and Arafat.
